No. 1 Men's Swimming Defeats Ave Maria, Falls to Indian River in Tri-Meet

Keiser University issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.

The No. 1 Keiser University Men's Swimming team split their tri-meet with Indian River and Ave Maria on Friday afternoon in Fort Pierce, Fla. The Seahawks defeated Ave Maria 221-33 and fell to Indian River 67-195.

MEET NOTES

In the 200 medley relay, the tandem of Alberto Garcia Marcos, Emerson Zaplatar, Robin Killian, and Alex Kusik placed second, touching the pads at 1:32.98.

Garcia Marcos posted a trio of second place finishes in the 50 free (21.40), 100 free (46.82), and the 100 fly (51.20).

The relay team of  Kilian, Pol Roch, Fynn Kunze, and Zaplatar finished runner-up in the 200 free relay, with a time of 1:26.18.

KU recorded the fastest time in the NAIA in the 200 medley relay.
