Miami schedules special city commission meeting for October 15

A Special City Commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission chambers at Miami City Hall. This meeting follows the cancellation of the regular meeting originally planned for October 10, 2024. All agenda items from the canceled session will be automatically included in this special meeting's agenda.

The proceedings will be broadcast live on multiple platforms including the City's website, Facebook, Twitter (X), YouTube, Comcast Channel 77, and AT&T Channel 99 for residents of Miami. Public comments can be submitted online through a form that will be shared with Elected Officials and made part of the public record. The deadline for submitting comments online is when the Chairperson closes public comment during the meeting.

Alternatively, public comments can also be provided in person at City Hall starting at approximately 9:00 a.m., following any rules set by the City. Detailed instructions for providing online comments are available at "https://www.miami.gov/meetinginstructions."

An agenda copy for this special meeting can be accessed at "http://miamifl.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx." For those wishing to appeal any decisions made during this meeting, it is necessary to have a verbatim record of all proceedings as per F.S. 286.0105.
