Due to the potential impacts of Hurricane Milton, Miami city officials have announced that the Miami Riverside Center (MRC) and all city buildings will be closed on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The closure aims to ensure the safety of both City employees and the public who visit these facilities for services.

The Solid Waste Department will maintain its operations until weather conditions make it unsafe to continue. Essential services, including public safety, will remain operational as scheduled. Meanwhile, non-essential services and their employees are expected to work remotely during this period.
