The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste has announced that regular garbage, recycling, and bulky trash services will continue as usual on Monday, February 17, 2025. This schedule is in observance of Presidents' Day.

Residents who have a third Monday collection for any service are advised to place their garbage, recycling, and bulky trash at the curbside the evening before. It is important to ensure that items are positioned at least five feet away from all objects.

Furthermore, the Solid Waste Department’s Mini Dump facility located at 1290 NW 20th Street in Miami will be operational on Presidents' Day from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Residents can dispose of bulky trash items during this time but must provide proof of City of Miami residency.

For additional information or to verify collection schedules, residents can visit www.miamizerowaste.com or contact customer service at 305-960-2801 or by dialing 3-1-1.
