A meeting of the Miami City Commission is scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. It will take place in the City Commission chambers at Miami City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL.

The event will be broadcast live on several platforms including the City’s website, Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), YouTube, Comcast Channel 77 for residents within Miami city limits, and AT&T Channel 99 for local AT&T subscribers.

Public comments on agenda items can be submitted online via a comment form. These submissions will be shared with Elected Officials and City Administration and included in the public record. The deadline to submit these comments aligns with the closure of public comment by the Chairperson during the meeting.

In-person public commentary is also available at City Hall starting at approximately 9:00 a.m., subject to any applicable rules or procedures. Detailed instructions for submitting online comments are available at https://www.miami.gov/meetinginstructions.

An agenda for the meeting can be accessed through http://miamifl.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx.

If anyone wishes to appeal a decision made by the City Commission during this meeting, they must ensure that a verbatim record of proceedings is maintained as per F.S. 286.0105.

Should there be any cancellations or lack of quorum resulting in an unheld meeting, a special session will automatically occur on Tuesday following such cancellation—specifically December 17, 2024—at the same location and time. Notification about this special session will be posted on various platforms including physical notices at City Hall and online announcements.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, individuals requiring special accommodations should contact the Office of the City Clerk no later than three business days before the proceeding. TTY users can reach out via Florida Relay Service by calling 711 within the same timeframe.
