The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste has announced that it will maintain its regular schedule for garbage, recycling, and bulky trash services on Monday, November 11, 2024, which is Veterans Day. Residents who receive service on Mondays are advised to place their items at the curb the evening before collection day. Items should be placed on the public right-of-way and kept five feet away from all objects. It is important to separate bulky trash from garbage and recyclables, and these items should not be placed in blue recycling carts.

In addition to curbside collection, City of Miami residents have the option to dispose of bulky trash items at the Mini Dump Facility. This facility is located at 1290 NW 20th St., Miami, FL 33142 and will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Veterans Day. Proof of residency is required for those using this facility.

For further details or inquiries, residents can visit www.miamizerowaste.com or contact the city's helpline by dialing 3-1-1.
