The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste is organizing a free community e-waste drive-thru event on October 19th at Regatta Park from 9 AM to 2 PM. The venue, known for its environmentally friendly design, features a roundabout driveway aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow during the event. Participants can drop off their unwanted electronics with ease.
This initiative aims to support responsible recycling and help residents protect the environment by keeping toxins out of the waste stream. On October 19th, City of Miami residents can bring various electronic products, light bulbs, and batteries for recycling. An on-site processor will handle a wide range of items, including PDAs, mainframe systems, fluorescent lamps, ballasts, commercial and industrial batteries, and mercury-bearing devices.
