The City of Miami has been recognized as one of the most improved cities on the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) City Clean Energy Scorecard. According to the report, Miami has significantly improved its ranking, moving from #49 to #27 on the latest scorecard released by ACEEE.

Miami's progress can be attributed to its focus on energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, particularly in the Buildings category. The city's efforts, such as the electrification goals in the Miami Forever Carbon Neutral plan and stormwater management policies promoting green infrastructure, have played a key role in boosting its score.

In addition to the ACEEE recognition, Miami also received an impressive A- rating on the 2023 Climate Disclosure Project (CDP) report. This rating reflects the city's commitment to transparent reporting and tracking progress on climate actions that aim to protect residents and enhance the local economy.

Miami's dedication to sustainability and environmental initiatives continues to garner positive attention, positioning the city as a leader in addressing climate change and promoting energy efficiency.
