The upcoming City Commission Meeting on March 14, 2024, has been announced to the public. The meeting, originally scheduled for that day, will now incorporate the agenda items from the previously planned March 28, 2024 meeting as well. It will take place at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission chambers located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133.

As stated by the announcement, the meeting will be live-streamed for public viewing through various platforms such as the City's website, social media channels, Comcast Channel 77, and AT&T Channel 99. Those interested in providing public comment on agenda items can do so through an online comment form, which will be shared with Elected Officials and City Administration.

The deadline for submitting public comments via the online form will be when the Chairperson closes public comment during the meeting. Alternatively, individuals can also give live public comments at City Hall on the day of the meeting, starting at 9:00 a.m.

For detailed instructions on how to use the online public comment form, interested parties are directed to visit https://www.miami.gov/meetinginstructions. The agenda for the City Commission meeting will be accessible at http://miamifl.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx.

In case of any appeals regarding decisions made during the meeting, it is advised that a verbatim record of the proceedings, including all testimony and evidence, be kept for potential future appeals.

Furthermore, in compliance with Miami City Code Section 2-33(o), if a City Commission meeting is canceled due to a lack of quorum or any emergency, a special meeting will be automatically scheduled for the following Tuesday, in this case, March 19, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the same City Hall location. All agenda items from the canceled meeting will be included in the special meeting.

Lastly, for individuals requiring special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 to participate in the meeting, they are advised to contact the Office of the City Clerk at (305) 250-5361 at least three business days before the proceeding. TTY users can call via 711 (Florida Relay Service) within the same timeframe.
