On January 11, 2024, the City of Miami Parks and Recreation, along with the City of Miami’s Commission, recognized the Coconut Grove Cowboys 9U football team for their outstanding achievement. The team recently won the Pop Warner Super Bowl National Championship in Division 2 on December 8, 2023, in Orlando, Florida.
