Save on your property taxes by paying early. The following is the schedule for early payment discounts:
- 4 percent if paid in November
- 3 percent if paid in December
- 2 percent if paid in January
- 1 percent if paid in February
Property owners can pay their tax bill online using the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector website with a checking account or credit card. Only current-year tax bills can be paid online. If paying current year real estate taxes by mail, acceptable forms of payment are personal check, cashier's check, certified funds or money order. No cash accepted. Make your payment payable to Miami Dade Tax Collector. Include your property's folio number on the cashier's check, certified funds, or money order. Postmarks accepted.
On April 1, taxes become delinquent, and acceptable forms of payment are cashier's check, certified funds or money order. No postmarks accepted.
Property owners can receive their tax bill electronically. You will also continue to receive your annual tax notice on or before Nov. 1.
