(RV) Women's Golf Concludes Play At Sun Championship

The St. Thomas University Women's Golf team finished sixth in the Sun Conference Championship Tournament. Round three concluded the final 18-holes on Tuesday afternoon.

Two Bobcats finished in the Top-20 with Serah Khanyereri and Heidi Demel leading the way. Khanyereri finished tied for 13th with +25 and Demel finished tied for 19th with +34.

On the tournament the team had 10 birdies and 113 pars. Chabely Arias was +1 on Par 3s which was tied for third best. Khanyereri shot her best on par 5s averaging 5.11 strokes, tied for 12th best.

Allison Strong came in as a substitute for Camila Ariano on the final round. Strong went +15 86. Samantha Cornelius moved up three spots to finished tied for 22nd going +14 85 on the final 18. Arias finished the tournament in 27th place with a finishing +14 85.

This will conclude the 2021-22 season for STU as the team has battled it out all year long and finishes receiving votes in the NAIA national poll.
