HistoryMiami Museum is set to host the fifth annual CultureFest 305 in person on November 13th. The event, which went virtual last year, will take place at the museum located at 101 W. Flagler Street from 11 AM to 4 PM. This free festival celebrates Miami's vibrant culture through music, dance, food, and art.
The schedule includes a variety of performances and demonstrations. At 12:30 PM, Willie Stewart will present "Rhythms In Conversation," a percussion performance. Clarita Filgueiras & Flamenco Puro Dance Company will showcase flamenco music and dance from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Bachaco will close the performances with reggae rock and Latin roots from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Demonstrations throughout the day include Louines Louinis Haitian Dance Theater featuring Haitian drumming and storytelling at noon, Ukrainian Dancers of Miami presenting a folk dance demonstration at 1:30 PM, and Rhythms School of Dance offering an Indian dance workshop at 2:45 PM.
The festival promises ongoing activities for attendees of all ages from start to finish. The organizers note that the schedule is subject to change as more demonstrators are added.
