Miami Dade College in Florida directed $476,144 to men’s basketball teams in 2024—$979,750 less than the Florida state average of $1,455,894, U.S. Department of Education data shows.
Miami-Dade County men’s basketball programs tallied $18,790,094 in expenditures for the 2024 season, a 2.7% reduction compared to the previous year.
Miami-Dade County allocated $12,899,625 to women’s basketball teams for 2024, representing a 12% funding increase over the prior year.
