The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Flag Football team is set to start the 2023 season. With a very tough non-conference slate, and the always competitive Sun Conference teams, Head Coach Erick Burzanko and the Bobcats will look to make their way to Atlanta at the end of the season.

The action begins at AutoNation Field as the Bobcats host the Warner Royals. STU has been dominant against Warner the past two seasons, losing only one of five meeting between the teams. Hitting the road for the next matchup, the Bobcats will travel to Thomasville, Ga. to go up against Thomas University. In the Nighthawks first season last year, they were able to pull out a win against STU, so this is an early test for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats return to Miami Gardens for the next one, this time hosting Webber International. In 2022 the Bobcats were successful against the Warriors. However, Webber was able to get the win over STU in the NAIA Tournament. The next week, the Seahawks of Keiser University will take a trip to AutoNation Field. The last two seasons, the Seahawks have had the Bobcats number, and STU will look to flip the script earl into the 2023 season.

After the tough Keiser game, the Bobcats will travel to Georgia once again, this time to face off against the first-year program Reinhardt University. STU will then return home to play another first-year team, the University of Fort Lauderdale.

Hitting the road once again, this time right down 63rd avenue, STU will try and keep their perfect record against Florida Memorial in the Battle of Miami Gardens. A few days later, the Bobcats will take on the Warriors of Webber International once again, this time making the drive up to Babson Park, Fla.

The Reinhardt Eagles will make the drive down to Miami for the next one, which will be the second meeting in 2023. On the road once again, STU will travel to Babson Park, Fla. for a neutral site matchup against Campbellsville University. The day after the Bobcats will remain in north Florida, this time to face off once again against the Royals of Warner University.

Now getting into the end of the season, the Thomas University Nighthawks will drive down I-95 to Miami for round two. April 19th under the lights, the Bobcats will honor the seniors for Senior Day 2023 against Florida Memorial. The last game of the season STU will make the short drive to West Palm Beach to try their luck yet again with Keiser University.
