(RV) Men's Basketball Drops Tough One on the Road

The St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Basketball team came up short against the Thomas University Nighthawks. The Bobcats will be back home December 8thto take on Florida National.

The Bobcats struggled early and could never really get into their rhythm. STU scored just two points three minutes into the game. D'andre Johnson got it going with a three of his own. After going down twelve, Jordan Hernandez hit one from behind the arch to make it a single digit deficit.

The Nighthawks couldn't seem to miss tonight and made back to back to back baskets. Nearing the end of the first half, Milton Matthews made a three and the Bobcats trailed by six heading into the locker room.

The second half started with a quick basket from Thomas. James Harris III hit a three and the Bobcats were within three points, which was the closest they would get the rest of the night. Justyn Rogers worked his way to the line making one of two to keep in close.

The Nighthawks kept pushing however and got back to a double-digit lead. Jordan Hernandez was fouled on a three-point shot and made three at the line, to put a stop the Thomas run. After that the Bobcats could never find their groove and would ultimately loose a tough one on the road.
