St. Thomas came out hot with a 23-point first quarter. Mya Moya had the hot hand once again for STU with a 19-point performance. The Bobcats went off on a 14-3 run to make it 17-7 in the five minutes of the game. The initial lead would be good insurance for a low second quarter scoring. St. Thomas took a 37-34 lead into the half.

The second half was a battle between both teams. Brewton-Parker worked their way back to the game at 56 all heading into the final frame. The Barons would open the fourth quarter hold a one possession lead. The script flipped in the final five minutes as Moye hit a big three for the lead and took off for a seven-point run on her own.

Paige McDonald stepped up off the bench in the final minutes to get a bucket of her own, then get a steal and knocked down a free throw to extend the lead and give the Bobcats momentum. Marta Franco and Moye hit late free throws to close out the win for the Bobcats.
