The St. Thomas University Women's Tennis team has been recognized as ITA All-Academic team, while 22 individual student-athletes from the Men's and Women's teams were named scholar-athletes. This is the second year in a row that the team have received this recognition.

In order to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, the individual must meet a grade point average of at least 3.5 or higher (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.

In order to be named an ITA All-Academic Team, the program must meet a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.

"I am very happy that we were able to continue or academic excellence with our tennis program," stated Head Coach, Matt Roche. "In particular having 11-of-16 women on the ITA Scholar-Athlete individual list and heaving earned the team recognition with a cumulative GPA of 3.49 while also making the Sweet-16 shows that our players are successful both on and off the court.
