April: Home prices in Miami increased

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Miami rose by $162,000 while total sales decreased by 72.1 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 237 homes sold, with a median sale price of $512,000 - a 46.3 percent increase over the $350,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 850 homes sold in Miami in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Miami for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,178, approximately 0.8 percent of the median home sale price for April.
