The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Florida Institute for Political Leadership (FIPL), an initiative by the Florida Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a virtual Campaign School & Community Leadership Training May 24-26, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day.  This no-cost and nonpartisan 3-day program is open to everyone and recommended for elected officials, current or future candidates, campaign workers, and anyone interested in serving in an appointed position. To register go to www.FIPL.org/Register.

“As our community grows, so does the potential for creative solutions and ideas that move Miami forward in a direction that serves residents and supports our local businesses,” said Alfred Sanchez, president & CEO of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited to partner with the Florida Institute for Political Leadership and bring such an important program for members of Miami-Dade County, helping them to lead with the resources they need to engage on different levels and positively shape our community’s bright future.”

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, FIPL has moved towards online training and schools.  The online school is broken up into a three-day, 2.5-hour session per day interactive virtual program. Presenters include state and local political experts, elected officials, university professors, and community leaders.

FIPL Campaign School & Leadership Trainings provide a comprehensive briefing on emerging local and state issues, teach attendees on what local opportunities are available for appointed or elected positions, guidance on how to prepare to run for office in the future and provide training on how to run winning campaigns during the election cycle and beyond.  For more information go to www.FIPL.org.
