Senior, Luke Simkiss, of the No. 3 Keiser men's tennis team has been named the NAIA Player of the Week, announced the league office on Wednesday.
The award marks the sixth award of the season and the eighth weekly honor of his career
Simkiss went 1-0 in singles play in the match against Coastal Georgia, his match with No. 30 Roy Stepanov was cut short going into the third set
Guided the Seahawks to a 2-0 record on the week en route to their sixth Sun Conference Tournament Championship
Paired with Soufiane El Mesbahi, the pair picked up two wins in the tournament to give Keiser the doubles point heading into singles play
