Women's Tennis Heads to Ft. Lauderdale for Shark Bite Invite

Keiser University issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.

The Keiser women's tennis team heads to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., on Friday to compete in the Nova Shark Bite Invite. The matches will take place over three days from Friday, 

October 29 to Sunday, October 31 at the NSU Tennis Complex on the campus of Nova Southeastern University.

The Seahawks will be entering a talented field of players from three different NCAA Division II schools, Lynn, Tampa and Nova Southeastern. Nicole Coopersmith, Vanja Vidanovic

Florencia Araya, Anique Engelbrecht, Eleonora Guglielmetti, Madalena Peneda, and Kanon Sorakubo will all be making the trip for Keiser and ready to play. The tournament will 

have 4 singles flights and 2 doubles flights in an 8 players/teams compass draw format. 

COACH'S CORNER

Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "Looking forward to a good test this weekend. This tournament is littered with strong competition and our girls will definitely be tested."
