Homestead home prices rise in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Homestead rose by $23,700 while total sales increased by 1.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were 134 homes sold, with a median sale price of $185,500 - a 14.6% increase over the $161,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 132 homes sold in Homestead in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Homestead for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,780, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for July 2018.
