Homestead home prices rise in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Homestead rose by $36,400 while total sales decreased by 20.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 113 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 20.4% increase over the $178,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 142 homes sold in Homestead in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Homestead for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,780, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
