Homestead home prices rise in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Homestead rose by $27,350 while total sales decreased by 4.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were 128 homes sold, with a median sale price of $185,800 - a 17.3% increase over the $158,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 134 homes sold in Homestead in October 2017.

The median sales tax in Homestead for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,780, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for October 2018.
