Miami home prices fall in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Miami fell by $19,000 while total sales increased by 62.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were 559 homes sold, with a median sale price of $261,000 - a 6.8% decrease over the $280,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 344 homes sold in Miami in September 2017.

The median sales tax in Miami for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,197, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for September 2018.
