Homestead home prices rise in November 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2018 in Homestead rose by $28,500 while total sales increased by 2.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2018, there were 98 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 18.8% increase over the $151,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 96 homes sold in Homestead in November 2017.

The median sales tax in Homestead for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,780, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for November 2018.
