The following day, on September 12, 2025, Salazar reached out to constituents in Florida communities with an announcement about constituent services: “Hello Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Pinecrest, and surrounding areas!
My office is coming to you. If you’re facing issues with a federal agency or want to share your concerns and priorities, come meet with us on Tuesday, September 23rd, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.”
Salazar represents Florida’s 27th congressional district and has been active in addressing economic challenges such as housing affordability. The Federal Reserve’s interest rate decisions have been closely watched by lawmakers concerned about consumer costs and economic growth.
