Rep. María Elvira Salazar, U.S. Representative for Florida’s 27th congressional district, addressed a range of topics in a series of posts on her official X account in mid-September 2025.
On September 15, Salazar expressed gratitude for an interview opportunity and commented on the importance of civil discourse among public officials. On September 16, Salazar addressed concerns regarding narcotics trafficking and its impact on communities throughout the hemisphere. She credited recent federal efforts led by President Biden’s administration for taking action against these threats. Her post read: “For years, narco-terrorists have poisoned our communities and destabilized our hemisphere. Salazar has represented South Florida since 2021 and is known for her advocacy on issues affecting both her local constituency and broader national concerns.
