Rep. María Elvira Salazar, U.S. Representative for Florida’s 27th congressional district, recently addressed several key issues on her official Twitter account.
On January 26, 2026, Salazar commented on the return of hostages to Israel and expressed gratitude to U.S. officials for their roles in the process. She wrote, “All the hostages are finally back in Israel. We welcome those who returned and mourn those who never will. They will never be forgotten.

Later that day, Salazar discussed her support for recent tax legislation aimed at benefiting working families. In her post she stated, “I voted YES for the Working Families Tax Cuts, because my constituents will directly benefit from it this tax season.

On January 27, 2026, Salazar marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a message honoring victims and calling for vigilance against antisemitism. She posted, “On International Holocaust Remembrance day, we honor the memory of more than six million Jewish men, women and children brutally taken from this earth.
