The second event is scheduled for July 16 at Florida International University Modesto A. Maidique Campus (Sanford and Dolores Ziff Education Building at SW 112 Avenue and East Campus Circle) from 9 a.m. to noon or until all trees are adopted.

Residents eligible to adopt trees will be able to choose from:

  • Grafted Mango
  • Longan
  • Red Mulberry
  • Krug’s Holly
  • Bahama Strongbark

Residents can get up to two free high efficiency showerheads and up to three free energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs, if they bring their current showerheads and up to three incandescent bulbs.
