The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Miami rose by $14,400 while total sales decreased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 3,373 homes sold, with a median sale price of $270,000 – a 5.6% increase over the $255,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 3,709 homes sold in Miami in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Miami for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $3,197, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
