On Saturday, Nov. 29, the West Florida Argonauts, featuring former Miami Edison Senior High School standout Michael Sherill Jr., were defeated 24-17 by the Newberry Wolves in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The matchup, held at Pen Air Field at 1 p.m., marked the first time the Argonauts faced the Newberry Wolves in the tournament.
