Men’s Tennis Voted to Finish Fourth in the SUN Preseason Coaches’ Poll

The Sun Conference released the 2023 Men’s Tennis Preseason Coaches’ Poll on Wednesday morning. St. Thomas University (STU) Men’s Tennis team was selected to finish tied for fourth in a very competitive conference.

The Bobcats finished the 2022 season at 14-9 and ranked 23rd in the nation, just shy of making another national tournament appearance. The season was highlighted by two NCAA Division I upsets taking down Duquesne and Bucknell, both at home. St. Thomas went 2-4 in conference play taking tough losses to no. 24 Southeastern, no. 22 Coastal Georgia, RV SCAD-Savannah, and no. 2 Keiser.

The 2023 season will begin with a home dual on Wednesday, February 1 against local NCAA Division II foe, Palm Beach Atlantic.
