SUMMARY:

25:48 – Barry struck first on a goal by scoring leader David Polanco. Peekay Stoffle sent in a long pass up from the back and Polanco out-raced the Sharks defense, then put keeper Euardo D’Avino on his seat, to score into an empty net. | Barry 1, NSU 0

28:48 – Just three minutes later, Polanco struck again. Daniel Schaal sent a ball into the box from the left and Polanco gathered in front of the goal and scored to the far post. | Barry 2, NSU 0

NOTEWORTHY:

The Sharks out-shot Barry 15-13, but both squads only put six on goal each.

Juan Claude Consol went the distance for Barry, stopping all six NSU shots on goal for his second shutout of the season.

D’Avino had four saves, but conceded two goals to take the loss.

Polanco now has four goals in two games against NSU this season.

ON THE HORIZON:

The Bucs advance to the championship game on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 1:00 pm. As the top seed, Barry will host the game, facing off against the second-seeded Florida Tech Panthers, who defeated #6 Tampa 2-1 in Melbourne.
