Rep. María Elvira Salazar, U.S. Representative for Florida’s 27th congressional district, announced the launch of the Dignity Coalition through a series of posts on March 25, 2026. The coalition brings together business leaders, faith leaders, and families from across party lines to support immigration reform efforts in Congress.

In her first post at 19:13 UTC, Salazar stated: “Today, I joined @RepEscobar, @ABICAction, @repmonicadlc, @mikekellypa, @repsusielee and dozens of stakeholders to launch our Dignity Coalition. The Coalition is a national movement of business leaders, faith leaders and families across party lines to meet with members of https://t.co/QYIC1YGsuV”.

Later that day at 19:25 UTC, she reiterated the announcement in Spanish: “Hoy me uní a @RepEscobar, @ABICAction, @repmonicadlc, @mikekellypa, @repsusielee y a decenas de líderes para lanzar la Coalición Dignidad. Es un movimiento nacional de líderes empresariales, de fe y familias de ambos partidos, unidos para impulsar la Ley DIGNITY en el Congreso.”

At 22:22 UTC on March 25th she added: “Así avanzamos: lanzamos la Coalición Dignidad y la llevamos a todo el país. https://t.co/wFwrxx34fG”

The Dignity Act has been described as bipartisan immigration reform legislation that aims to address border security and provide legal status for undocumented immigrants living in the United States.
