Making strides in the fight against breast cancer

0Comments

Every October, Miami-Dade County comes together to raise awareness around breast cancer. Since 2007, the County, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, has raised over $2.5 million for breast cancer research.

On Saturday, Oct. 22, County residents will gather at loanDepot Park for the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Check-in begins at 7 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m.

The walk raises awareness and funds for this important cause. Another way to show your support is to #wearpink throughout the month of October.
