The Small Business Development Division of the Miami-Dade County Internal Services Department in collaboration with Miami-Dade Aviation – Minority Affairs will be hosting a workshop, Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to noon at the auditorium at Miami International Airport (MIA), Terminal D, fourth floor.

Discover new and upcoming business opportunities and learn how to access contracts with Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD). Hear from key department experts and contractors on best practices when contracting with MDAD.

During this workshop you can expect to gain pertinent information on:

  • Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise projects
  • Capital construction projects
  • Future requests for proposals
  • Registering as a County vendor
  • Success stories from local vendors
  • Certifying your firm as a Small Business Enterprise

Parking
Park in MIA’s Dolphin Garage, third floor. The nearest entrance to the MIA Auditorium is in the northwest corner of the garage. Take the escalator to reach the fourth floor. Parking validation will be provided only for pre-registered, in-person attendees.
