Whether you are looking to replace your roof, air conditioner, add solar panels or hurricane shutters, the Solar and Energy Loan Fund (SELF) may be an option for you.

Through grant funding approved by the Board of County Commissioners for the non-profit SELF, a federally certified community development financial institution that provides affordable financing for sustainable property improvements, you may be able to get help with home improvements that can save you money on energy, water and insurance bills; increase comfort; and protect against extreme weather.

Loans are based on the applicant’s ability to pay, rather than credit scores or equity.

Contact Juliana Orozco at JulianaO@solarenergyloanfund.org to learn more about these low-cost financing options.
