Khanyereri and Cornelius Lead Way for #22 Bobcats Day One of Nancy Nichols Fall Invite

The St. Thomas University (STU) Women’s Golf team finished Day One of the Nancy Nichols Fall Invite in third. With Day Two tomorrow the Bobcats will look to make a push to the top.

Day One
 
The Bobcats got off to a good start in Sebring, and are led by Serah Khanyereri in 2ndoverall, and Samantha Cornelius in 3rdoverall. In round one Khanyereri shot a 77 and in the second round improved and shot a 74 for a total of 151. Cornelius shot a 75 in round one and shot a 77 in round two for a total of 152. Heidi Demel sits tied for 13thshooting an 81 followed by 78 for a total of 159. Rounding out STU is Chabely Arias who is tied for 17th, and Angelina Quinn in 27th. STU averaged 3.10 on par 3’s, 4.54 on par 4’s, and 5.63 on par 5’s. In total the Bobcats had 84 pars, and 16 Birdies.
