City Manager Art Noriega announces the appointment of Michael Liu as Advisor to the City Manager.
Mr. Liu, a true and seasoned professional whose experience and background will be vital in carrying out our vision, will provide strategic and project development advice for major housing and mixed-use projects.
With more than 40 years of experience, most recently he served as a U.S. Housing and Urban Development administrator and Director of Miami-Dade County’s Department of Public Housing and Community Development. From 1980 to 1996, he was a State Representative and State Senator for the Hawaii State Legislator.
He received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa – Wiliam S. Richardson School of Law.
